Dr. Buchananās research interests are in the areas of musculoskeletal biomechanics and the neural control of human movement. Recent projects include FES and Biomechanics: Treating Movement Disordersā and the āACL Injured Knee: MRI and Biomechanical Modeling.ā
Buchanan is the Editor-in-Chief of theĀ Journal of Applied BiomechanicsĀ and is on the editorial board of theJournal of BiomechanicsĀ and holds the rank of Fellow of the ASME.
